JIIP organises a workshop on “Policy approaches for digital industrial B2B platforms” on 24 October 2019 in Brussels
The
Joint Institute for Innovation Policy (JIIP), the joint venture of four renowned RTOs and EARTO members:
TNO (The Netherlands),
VTT (Finland),
Joanneum Research (Austria) and
Tecnalia (Spain), organises a workshop on “Policy approaches for digital industrial B2B platforms” on 24 October in Brussels. Digital Industrial B2B platforms are based on underlying technologies and platforms for data exchange (e.g. AI, block chain, aggregators) and can play an increasingly important role in integrating production (within companies – e.g. digital factories) and between companies, linking organisations along the value chain but also can bring new questions and challenges.
The workshop will allow policy makers and industrial platforms to discuss the current policy and user needs and how to address future challenges on this market. A position paper including the main conclusions and discussions of the workshop will be published after the workshop.
