EC published a Consultation on the Digital Europe Programme

On 25 July, the European Commission (EC) launched an online public consultation, open until 25 October 2019, on the orientation of the first two years of the Digital Europe Programme. The inputs collected will feed the work for the finalisation of the draft orientations for Digital Europe, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), supercomputing, cybersecurity, advanced digital skills and digital uptakes across EU societies. EARTO very much encourages all its Members to take part in the consultation by answering the online survey.   Overall, the consultation will focus on:
  • shaping the work programmes and calls for proposals for 2021-2022;
  • identifying the readiness of the programme;
  • offering a chance to raise any concerns.
  The EC will organise the Digital Excellence Forum at the ICT Proposers’ Day on 19-20 September 2019 in Helsinki, Finland. This event will also gather inputs from the R&I community on the Digital Europe Programme. On 18 September EARTO member VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland will organise site visits to the ICT innovation ecosystem for which registration is available here and open until 6 September.   More information Online consultation
