Technology Industries of Finland and
Teknikföretagen representing the technology-based industries in Sweden, are organising a round table event on the future Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) in research and innovation on 20 November in Brussels. Horizon Europe Programme shows an ambitious step in keeping the EU at the forefront of global research and innovation and industry plays a pivotal role in turning research results into high-value solutions. At the same time, modernisation and renewal efforts are required to ensure that EU industry stays competitive in global markets.
This event aims at:
- discussing: How can Horizon Europe be more attractive for industry, how should the concept of PPPs evolve, how to improve the overall impact of PPPs and EU’s research and innovation inputs, what are the next steps in designing the PPPs for the future, and how to engage industry in the design process;
- exchanging views with representatives from the European Commission, Industry and Member States.
