Mission: Tyndall is an international leader in integrated ICT hardware and systems, specialised in electronics and photonics. Tyndall’s core research areas are: Smart sensors and systems; Optical communication systems; Mixed signal and analog circuit design; Microelectronic and photonic integration; Semiconductor wafer fabrication; Nano materials and device processing. Its principal mission is to deliver economic impact through research excellence. Tyndall also delivers research and innovation in Europe, with local and global impact and a network of over 200 industry partners and customers worldwide.   Vision: Tyndall’s vision is to be the Premier Information and Communications Technology Institute worldwide in generating Economic Impact through Excellence in Research.
