Mission & Vision

Mission: NORCE is a private multidisciplinary research institute that conducts research for applied use and knowledge development, knowledge-driven innovation in collaboration with businesses, public administration and society. NORCE aims at delivering relevant research, competence, solutions and services of high international quality within our six disciplines (technology, energy, environment, climate, health and social science), and with high national and international ethical standards. Its unique scientific breadth and depth are exploited to face challenges associated with new perspectives, innovation and holistic solutions. NORCE helps developing new enterprises, innovative solutions in both the public and industry and commercialise when appropriate.   Vision: NORCE’s mission is the passion for knowledge – towards a sustainable future, which is at the core of its input to value creation. NORCE is constantly on the lookout for new knowledge, and is passionate about dissemination and application of knowledge. NORCE will draw on its resources to participate in this type of collaboration on sustainable solutions, with local support and a global perspective.
