Mission & Vision
Mission: To provide knowledge and develop the ability to intervene in technical and specialised areas. To have mastery of the process of research, development, and innovation, and to be able to apply it.
Vision: CTCV is an organisation rooted in knowledge and expertise. As such, we strive to be an indispensable partner in the development of cutting-edge solutions.
Technology Expertise
CTCV develops research and development projects in areas such as new materials, innovative production processes, sustainability and energy efficiency. This includes both the development of new products and processes and the optimisation of existing processes. Currently, the main field of research at CTCV are:
- Development and validation of firing technologies with new energy sources (Hydrogen, electricity and others).
- New products with reduced firing temperatures.
- Circularity and development of new raw materials.
- Development of processes with lower water consumption (dry processes).
- Digital transformation.
- Multifunctional materials and products.
- Industrial robotics with a view to its dissemination in the traditional sectors of Ceramics, and Glass and Natural Stone.
- Additive manufacturing / 3D printing processes as a vehicle for making unique pieces, customising collections or making prototypes.
- CTCV is also expanding to new sectors such as stone and mineral resources.
