Manifesto for a Modern and Competitive 2021-2027 Budget
In the frame of the preparation of the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), Helmholtz, CSIC, CNR, CNRS and Leibniz Association are promoting a Manifesto for a modern and competitive 2021-2027 EU budget, which describes the current EU landscape and underlines the need of a more competitive Europe, especially for Research & Innovation.
Horizon 2020 has been underfunded to fulfill its high ambition and targets, so the Manifesto calls for the recognition of research and research-based innovation as the main drivers of EU competitiveness and growth, through an adequate funding with substantial increase of the present budget allocation.
