Joint EC-OECD Webinar Series on Innovation and Growth
The European Commission (EC)’s DG R&I is organising together with the OECD Science, Technology and Innovation Directorate a joint
webinar series on innovation and growth. These series aim to build on project results supported under Horizon 2020 that aim to increase our understanding of important issues such as public support for innovation (‘microBeRD’), business dynamism and productivity (‘MapProdIGI’), the role of public research to support innovative entrepreneurship (‘KnowInn’), and the monitoring and assessment of research and innovation policies (‘REITER’) in Europe and beyond.
Seven online webinars are scheduled between October and December 2020, starting on 14 October with a session on the impact of R&D tax incentives. The webinars provide an opportunity to showcase the latest project results and to highlight recent academic work in these areas. Interventions by policy makers, policy analysts and leading academic experts will further explore the policy implications of this work and avenues for future research.
