High-Level Strategy Group on Industrial Technologies Publishes Report on KETs
The European Commission High-level Strategy Group on industrial technologies has published the report
Re-finding industry – Defining Innovation . At the request of R&I Commissioner Carlos Moedas, the experts reviewed and updated the existing strategy on KETs. EARTO Vice President Antti Vasara and EARTO Board Member Iñaki San Sebastian were members of this Group.
The experts proposed two new key enabling technologies (KETs) at EU level: artificial intelligence and security & connectivity. Their report states that in combination with the right level of ambition for more skills, courage for funding, single market and social dialogue, these KETs will contribute to support growth, jobs and democracy.
