European Higher Airspace Operations Symposium – 2 April 2019 in Brussels
The Higher Airspace Operations Symposium, co-organised by the European Commission’s DG GROW and DG MOVE, will take place at EUROCONTROL premises on 2 April 2019 in Brussels. The objective of this event is to better understand and raise awareness of the emerging new technologies and related needs in the higher airspace (the area above FL 600), which is becoming a new frontier for flight.
The conclusions will feed into the future definition of European Concept of Operations, which will serve as one of inputs for the global framework. The results will also help to identify the elements to support the European competitiveness and autonomous access to space in line with the 2016 Space Strategy for Europe. The Symposium will bring together European and international organisations, industry, regulators, operational stakeholders.
