The report stresses the role of industrial research infrastructures, whether public, semi-public, or private, referring to facilities, equipment and support services for industry to test/validate, upscale and bringing new solutions to the market. The report highlights the importance of coordination and targeting in order to address industry needs by providing industrial research infrastructures which are open, shared, and accessible.
