EC published first version of Horizon Europe’s Implementation Strategy

On 29 April, the European Commission (EC) published the first version on Horizon Europe’s Implementation Strategy, which constitutes an essential part for delivering the objectives of Horizon Europe Programme and for the preparation of its Work Programmes. The Horizon Europe’s Implementation Strategy is a co-design and co-creation process, based on the EC public consultation, EC R&I Days in September 2019 and several meetings and events with Members States as well as stakeholders. According to the EC, this document aims at providing the framework for carefully designed rules and efficient processes, which will support Horizon Europe to deliver an efficient and user-friendly impact. Especially, it focuses on:
  • maximising impacts;
  • reinforcing transparency and simplification;
  • enabling synergies with other EU Programmes;
  • supporting digital transformation and outreach.
  The current Implementation Strategy will be subjected to a further development during 2020 and the progress report is scheduled to be published in the second semester 2020.   More information
