EC published 2 Policy Briefs on the role of R&I in COVID-19 recovery

The European Commission (EC), through is Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG R&I) recently published two policy reports, aiming at highlighting the role of R&I in supporting EU’s post COVID-19 recovery.   More precisely, the first DG R&I policy report focuses on “The role of R&I in support of Europe’s recovery from the COVID-19 crisis” and covers six axes, including among others the essential role of R&I in coordinating the EU solid response on COVID-19 pandemic, while being a powerful tool to mitigate the post COVID-19 challenges and transforming EU societies, with the support of digital transformation and European Green Deal. While, the second report published by the “ESIR” high-level expert group on “The Recovery and resilience post COVID-19“, looks for particular solutions and gives advice on “how to make R&I policy a powerful transformative lever for the COVID-19 crisis recovery”.   More information on the first and second brief report
