EC organised the Innovation Enterprise Week 2019 on 19-21 June 2019 in Bucharest
The European Commission, through DG CONNECT and DG RTD, together with the Romanian Presidency of the EU Council co-organised the Innovative Enterprise Week in Bucharest, Romania. The conference brought on the stage debates about how to bridge the gap from idea to investable project, how to support breakthrough innovations and the scale up potential with high risk for private investors. It also focused on three overarching topics for the next EU Research and Innovation Programme (2021-2027) – Horizon Europe: Pathfinder, Accelerator and Financial Instruments.
The conclusion of the event was the need to connect “the right people to the right people” and to remove the financial barriers that prevent risky ideas from coming to market. More information
