EC launched the EU Prize for Women Innovators
The European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Ms Mariya Gabriel, recently launched the 2021 edition of the
EU Prize for Women Innovators. This prize, supported by the European Innovation Council (EIC), celebrates the most talented women entrepreneurs from across the EU and countries associated to
Horizon Europe, who have founded a successful company and brought innovation to the market. Each year, the European Commission awards three prizes of €100,000 each in the main category, and a fourth prize of €50,000 to a promising ‘Rising Innovator’ aged 30 or younger.
The application deadline is on 30 June 2021 at 17:00 (Brussels time). Evaluations will take place between July and October, and the winners will be announced at the end of 2021.
