EC launched a call for participation in Pan-European Hackathon

On 14 April, the European Commission (EC), in collaboration with all 27 EU Member States, launched a call for participation in the Pan-European Hackathon, which will be held on 24-26 April 2020. The registration deadline is open until 19 April, aiming at connecting innovators, partners and buyers across Europe to develop innovative solutions to coronavirus. This Pan-European Hackathon, as part of the second EU Fast Response on the fight against COVID-19, focuses on finding short-term solutions in relation to COVID-19 health and life, business continuity, remote working and education, social & political cohesion, digital finance and an open category for other challenges. According to the EC, the selected solutions will be invited to join a European Innovation Council Platform in order to facilitate connections with end users (e.g. hospitals) and provide access to investors, foundations and other funding opportunities.   More information
