EARTO Network welcomes a new member: AIST (Japan)
The EARTO network gladly welcomes a new member:
National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Japan. AIST is one of the largest research organisations in Japan which focuses on the creation and practical realisation of technologies useful to Japanese industry and society, and on “bridging” the gap between innovative technological seeds and commercialisation. AIST is organised into 5 departments and 2 centers, based on the national strategies formulated with the changing environment involving innovation and information technologies, which bring together core technologies to exert AIST’s comprehensive strength. AIST covers many fields of technological excellence, such as green technology, life technology and information technology.
