BusinessEurope calls for an ambitious budget for Horizon Europe budget in a recently published letter to the European Council President Donald Tusk, ahead of the Leaders’ meeting of 28-29 June.
The letter states that “Horizon Europe is a unique opportunity to deepen Europe’s innovation capability and to ensure the necessary investments in a globalised world”. It stresses that “the volume of resources allocated to Horizon Europe will be an expression of the policy ambition”, and BusinessEurope “counts on leaders to give a clear political signal that Europe will be at the forefront of the global innovation race”.
