EARTO Innovation Awards Ceremony 2026 – 10 June 2026
EARTO organised its Innovation Awards today, 10 June 2026, at the Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels, Belgium. The event took place in the frame of the EARTO Annual Conference 2026 and gathered over 300 representatives from more than 30 countries worldwide (RTOs, EU institutions, industry as well as other key R&I stakeholders). The conference focused on “From Research to Industrial Power: Scaling Europe’s Critical Technologies”, bringing together EU policymakers, industry leaders and RTOs’ executives to discuss how Europe can accelerate technology scale-up, strengthen its industrial base and reinforce technological leadership. The programme featured high-level exchanges and concrete examples highlighting the role of RTOs as essential delivery actors of Europe’s innovation and competitiveness agenda.
During the 18th edition of the EARTO Innovation Awards Ceremony, six RTOs’ innovations were rewarded by Mr Jesús Valero, EARTO President and Managing Director of Tecnalia, in two categories: Impact Delivered and Impact Expected. EARTO member JSI, received the award in the Impact Delivered category for the development of DyThera, an advanced Dynamic Line Rating software deployed within the SUMO Dynamic Rating System. EARTO member CSEM received the award in the Impact Expected category for the development of ORYL F1, a high-throughput solubility and aggregation profiling instrument developed in collaboration with ORYL Photonics and the University of Northwestern Switzerland.
On the same day, EARTO has published the 2026 edition of its Innovation Awards online brochure, a collection of 32 innovations featuring EARTO members, which gives a flavour of the wide range of RTOs’ work. The brochure includes articles on all RTOs that took part in this year’s competition, as well as articles on RTOs International Network (RIN), with a special focus on the six finalists, which are, in addition to the two winners: LIST, INESC TEC, Leitat and Tecnalia
