Mission & Vision

Mission: Science for Business - Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals (Łukasiewicz-IMN) is a leading European research and technology RTO of non-ferrous industry and one of the leading research institute in Polish Łukaszewicz Research Network. The scope of Ł-IMN activities includes R&D on new innovative technologies, industrial processes optimization, modernization of production lines, construction of equipment, measuring and analytical services. Institute create innovative solutions and conduct studies in the area of enrichment of mineral resources, especially non-ferrous ores other minerals and secondary materials treatment, pyro- and hydrometallurgy, environmental protection, metals processing, material engineering – new advanced materials, nanotechnologies, chemical power sources, analytical chemistry.
Vision: An international research organisation providing innovative and technologically advanced quality solutions in the field of non-ferrous metals processing, closed-loop technologies, recovery of critical elements, new generation materials for power electronics, energy, transport, medicine and new composite materials and powders ensuring the competitiveness of entrepreneurs creating the strength of the Polish and EU economy.
