EC Hosts Event on Logistic and Supply Chain Security R&D
The European Commission is organising a workshop to discuss the roadmap and priorities that should be taken into consideration for a future FP7 European R&D demonstration programme on "Logistic and Supply Chain Security".
The workshop will take place on January 31st, 2012 in Brussels in the Centre Albert Borschette (Rue Froissart, 36, B-1040 Brussels).
The agenda will be divided into four sessions:
- panel discussion of related policies at EU and international levels
- a review of on-going EU-funded R&D activities in the area of the supply chain security
- presentation of preparatory work on road maps to define the demonstration programme
- debate and discussion (via three parallel sessions) of what should be tested and validated in this sector
Registration for the workshop will start at 08:15 and the workshop will start at 9.00 sharply.
